SAP's Advanced Planner and Optimiser (APO) offers a variety of features for demand planning (DP) - yet it leaves many decisions to the expert demand planner. Selecting adequate models (level, trend, seasonal etc.) and correct alpha-, beta- and gamma-parameters that one can trust to work robustly & automatically month by month provides a time-consuming challenge in going live and in introducing new products. We have developed a specialised software solution that analyses your assortment for value & predictability (ABC-XYZ-analysis) and recommends the most suitable APO-DP forecasting model & parameters for each of your products. Intelligent Forecaster provides the facilities to train practitioners and academics in the use of neural networks for forecasting. Paired with our substantial training experience we have developed a number of established training schemes.
